Lock Changes, Securing Services & Lockouts in Metro Detroit

At Property Sentinels we make lock changes simple. Our lock change/lock out services include securing all windows/doors, replacing broken glass (or boarding if necessary), lock box installation and installing key codes, install deadbolt lock system, replace or board broken entry doors, and much more.

Our lock change and securing services here at Property Sentinels are simple and follow HUD guidelines. These services include the following items that will secure a structure properly on Post Foreclosure homes.

Lock Changes

  • Front and rear entry lock changes
  • Existing deadbolt locks on entry doors changed
  • Lock boxes installed upon request
  • Sliding glass doors double locked
  • Garage doors secured with padlocks
  • Outbuildings secured with padlocks
  • Broken window glass replaced (broken glass removed from premises)
  • Secondary entryways secured with slide bolts or deadbolts as needed
  • Window locking mechanisms replaced or repaired
  • Automatic garage door openers disabled
  • All key codes documented

These are the minimum regulations as determined by HUD and which have been adopted by many local communities, Here at Property Sentinels, we strive to follow all of these guidelines to ensure that all properties are secured to prevent unauthorized entry and protect against weather related damage, or vandalism

Pre-foreclosures will include all of the services listed above with the exception of the lock change on the rear entry door which will not be changed to allow the borrower access to the home (if applicable).
